NEW: Ruth Martin presents the illustrious life of Thomas Chippendale!
The Curator of Leeds City Museum, Ruth Martin, will present an illustrated talk at the library on life and work of furniture maker and designer Thomas Chippendale - Otley's most famous son.
Chippendale who was born in Otley 300 years ago in 1718 became nationally famous and furnished many grand country houses including Harewood House, Temple Newsam and Nostell Priory.
