 Books, Journals and Archives

We have a continually updating stock of the latest and greatest literary works available catering to all interests and ages, including renowned fiction writers such as J.K Rowling and Lee Child, as well as non-fiction and biographical works by authors such as Sir Ranulph Fiennes and Andrew Marr.

We also have a really well stocked Children’s Library section now with plenty for all age groups. Our local primary school groups even visit us for books! Books can be borrowed for up to three weeks.

In addition, we are proud to possess the best collection of local historical archives in the form of books and journals in our Local History Room. All books, journals and archives are available to Rawdon Community Library members. RCL members can also access “Find My Past” and “British Newspaper Archives” via the computers in the library.
